Bill turns 60!!!

And now the best part of life begins, so so they say. Bill celebrated with a quiet dinner at Poky Dot. He did not want anyone to throw a big party. Steve and Stacy got him a beautiful Bible and wrote a message to him inside. He was so touched by that gift. Rylie wrote him a beautiful note that he promptly put in his new Bible. It was a very peaceful low key way to enter into the next decade of life.

Rylie's 12th Birthday Dinner!

Great fun at Rio Grande in Morgantown. The family got together to celebrate Rylie turning 12 years old. Where has the time gone? Such a beautiful young women she is becoming.

Evan is Five Years Old!

Several pics of Evan's 5th birthday party at CTA gym. There are two short videos at the end. He had so much fun. First they played in the gym, then cake and pepperoni rolls and ice cream, then the lights go down, the disco ball goes up, the strobe lights start, and they play and dance in the dark. Stacy added a jump balloon also. Even the parents were playing and jumping around with the kids. Enjoy!! Also a small family gathering on his real birthday date of New Year's Eve!

Christmas 2011

Gatherin at Mamaw's and Papaw's for Christmas Eve dinner. Grown kids and grandkids enjoyed baked Ziti, oodles of sweets and snacks, and fun opening presents after dinner.

Easter 2011

The kids enjoyed an easter egg hunt, treasure hunt, and of course goodies to eat. So great having the family all together. There is a short video at the bottom of Rylie and Evan in the midst of the treasure hunt. They were so excited. Clues were put in eggs and they had to find them one by one until they found their Easter present. Steve and Kristina and Brad and Stacy were able to spend a little time at Mamaw's today. Happy Easter everyone! Thanks to God for all our families blessings.

Evan is Four Years Old!!

Evan is now four years old! The event was celebrated at the local CTA high flyer's gym. The kids got to jump in the foam pit, place in the dark with a lighted disco ball, and jump on the tumble track. This was Evan's first real birthday party and he had a blast. Happy birthday, Evan!!

Evan says he wants a white tow truck. Do they even make them that color? Rylie is enjoying watching Evan. We toured this home with all the lights. This family does this every year and even gives each child a toy after their visit with Santa. It's become a tradition to visit here right before Christmas.

We Will Miss Our Minnie!!

 

Minnie was a rescued Boston Terrior that belonged to Steve and Kristina. She had the most loving personality and loved to climb into the chair whenever Steve sat down. She had many health problems and passed away Friday, November 12, 2010. Her last years were full of love and we will miss her terribly. She often wore her blue sweater that was knit especially for Minnie to keep her warm. She wore her sweater for two seasons and seemed to love it. Goodbye dear Minnie! We will miss you!
