Baylee and the kids latest pics. Baylee is adjusting well to our home. She really seems content. Her health is improving with the antibiotics and vitamins. She loves the kids. Well, she loves Rylie but isn't sure about the baby yet. He scares her, I think. Everyone is so happy to have Baylee in our family. Bill, my husband is holding Evan and Stacy, my daughter is also in the pics. Enjoy!

Our Newest Family Member

 

We have a new dog in the house! We have been so sad since our dog Molly passed away but now have something to fill that hole in our hearts. She is so friendly and gentle. We are just so happy to have her in our family. I'm sure the grandkids will love her.

Everyone got together at Stacy's house for picnic cookout and fireworks. Rylie loved playing with all her cousins.

Rylie looks so cute without her front tooth. Evan of course is giving that special smile to Papaw. He thinks Papaw is hilarious for some reason. It was a great day to have a cookout.

We had a wonderful week in the Outer Banks. Being near the ocean always calms the soul. We took Rylie this year. Evan and parents couldn't come since Evan was born so recently and Stacy had used up all her time off for maternity leave. Steve and Kristina were still able to come and really had fun with Rylie. Next year, hopefully the whole family can make it. The weather was perfect and the water warm. I want to go back!

Rylie is so wonderful with Evan. She is so gentle and he really smiles when he sees her. Isn't this precious?

Evan's First Visit to Mamaw's House!

Evan and Rylie came to visit for the day. Evan is now nearly 1 month old and Rylie is just 2 months shy of 7 years old. I am so proud of my grandkids. Click on the pic of Evan for a few more pics of the day.

Our New Grandson has Arrived!

Meet Evan, Rylie's little brother. He was born at 12:03 on New Years Eve weighing 7lb and 2 oz. He looks just like his big sister. Mother, Father, Rylie and Evan are all doing well. More pics to come later.

Granny's 90th Birthday

"Granny" celebrated her 90th birthday this year. We had such a nice time with family having cake and ice cream. We have 5 generations in our family. Granny is Rylies Great Great grandmother. She looks great, doesn't she?

Wonderful News! It's a Boy!!

Christmas is coming, and a new baby grandson will be arriving! I've got my knitting needles clacking. Rylie is thrilled to be a big sister. Here is an ultrasound photo of our little baby at about 16 weeks. I can't wait to see our precious bundle when he enters the world. Our daughter's due date is around Christmas. She is doing great so far. Both are healthy and growing. My son in law is already preparing the nursery with a WVU theme. What better gift for Christmas than a special new member of the family!

Rylie's Abstract art was picked to be featured in an Art Exhibition at West Virginia University's Creative Arts Center. She is so talented! (Get's it from her Mamaw of course!) The best artwork from children grades K though 12 was featured. I am so proud of her, and so is her Papaw Grumpy shown here proudly pointing at Rylie's creation.
